My podcast, my book and my blog
It’s been a bit quiet around here lately. For a while my time was taken up by a four hour daily production–aka the Web Dev Digest podcast–until work and family obligations made it impossible to continue. After that, instead of taking a break, I wrote a book. Well, actually just a chapter in a book, The Art & Science of JavaScript, which is due out in January of 2008. All the while, my blog languished. Well, now that I’m starting to find a few spare minutes in the day, I’ve resolved to focus on my blog. I’m planning a complete revamp of the site. I might post in the interim, though more than likely I’ll be focusing on the revamp and saving the content for when I relaunch. In the meanwhile, you can follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/ara_p.

Wow, congrats on the book! Which chapter did you write?
Glad to hear you are planning to get back to blogging. I kinda missed updates on this site. I listened to some of your podcasts, but I never have time for these things. I find blogs easier to digest because they require less involvement and effort to digest (skimming the feeds in your RSS reader is more efficient than sequentially listening to podcast files).

I know this comment is about a month late, but congrats! I had heard here and there that a JS “Art and Science” book was in the works but had no idea it was already up for preorder.

This comment is much later than Jason’s, but I wanted to say congrats on the book! This book will be on its way to me as soon as it is available - and I am excited to check it out.
