Worked for Deloitte & Touche, PriceWaterhouse, ATT and JPMorgan Private Bank. Suprisingly AT&T (after staying late for months so I could play with UNIX, around 1974) let me create my own job description, reverse engineer some of their apps & rewrite them. And JPMorgan let me write a whole series of tools to make my job easier! So, JPMorgan Private Bank, followed by any place that would let me look around and see what processes/programs etc need improvement!

Hi Ara

Long time no speak, thats a pretty tough question and not one that I think I could answer on the spot. Also I found myself thinking about jobs in other industries which is wierd... I am gonna write an honest answer even if it doesn't relate to current goals, it will reflect what I am thinking right now though :)

lamborghini
Orange County Choppers
Industrial Light and Magic
Redbull to play on their slide
A sky diving centre

Just out of curiosity... where would you work?

Good question because it made me think as I started to make a list on IM. Soon enough it made me realise that I should first internally answer a different question: what do I want to partake in solving? I can probably better answer your question once I nail that one down since it is highly dependant.

In no particular order:
Adobe, Cisco, Yahoo and Google were all decent places I've worked for, with varying strengths and weaknesses. Apple could be fun. I guess that's five. All of those are pretty large companies, and I'm getting more interested in mid-size companies as I get older, but they're going to be less well-known and more interesting for particular specialized reasons that aren't likely to apply to "most people".
